Transfer Update: Super Falcons Midfielder Leaves Club

Spanish Iberdrola side Sevilla Feminine has confirmed the departure of Nigeria's Super Falcons midfielder Toni Payne, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Payne joined the Spanish side about 6 years ago and she was able to make her mark in the team. 

Sevilla confirmed her departure via its social media handle on Thursday and wished her all the best.

" Fast, explosive and talented, hand growth Sevilla.

Nigeria has one more Sevillian forever, good luck", the club said.

Payne was part of the Falcons team at the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup in Australia and New Zealand.

And she is expected to be part of the team at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, France.
