Transfer Update: Super Falcons Midfielder Signs Contract Extension With Portuguese Club

Portuguese Feminino side SL Benfica have announced a 3-year contract extension for Nigeria's Super Falcon midfielder Uchibe Christy, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The skilful player has been an outstanding player for the club since she joined them 3 years ago.

The club announced the contract extension on Friday afternoon via its official website.

" Christy Ucheibe, a 22-year-old midfielder, three-time national champion for Benfica women's football team, extended her association with the Club until 2026", the club said.

The Nigerian international expressed her gratitude to the entire team for the love they've shown her.

"This period of three and a half years in Portugal has been fantastic and at Benfica, my colleagues always showed me a lot of love and affection. Benfica is love!", she said.
