Transfer Update: Tella Shuts Down Exit Rumors

Nigeria’s Super Eagles and Bayer Leverkusen midfielder Nathan Tella has dismissed speculation linking him with a move away from the Bundesliga champions, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Tella, who joined Leverkusen from English side Southampton in 2023, played a key role in helping the team secure the league title last season.

Although injuries and dips in form have limited his appearances this season, the 24-year-old reaffirmed his commitment to the club.

“I really like it here. When I first arrived, I didn’t know much about the club or German football, but within the first two weeks, I truly understood what it means to play for and represent this team,” Tella told BILD.

“I have no reason to leave. I’m more than happy here and I want to stay.”
