Transfer Update: Top European Clubs Join Race For Super Eagles Winger

German Bundesliga side Bayer Leverkusen have joined the growing list of clubs interested in signing Super Eagles winger Chidera Ejuke this summer, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The former CSKA Moscow star has attracted attention from several clubs across Europe, with English sides Sunderland and Leeds United already monitoring his situation ahead of the new season.

Ejuke currently has one year remaining on his contract with Spanish club Sevilla FC. 

The La Liga outfit are reportedly willing to part ways with the Nigerian international as part of their ongoing squad rebuilding process.

Bayer Leverkusen's interest is expected to intensify competition for the winger's signature, with the German club keen to strengthen their attacking options ahead of the 2026/27 campaign.

The 28-year-old has enjoyed spells in the Netherlands, Russia, Germany and Spain, earning a reputation for his pace, dribbling ability and creativity in the final third.

With Sevilla open to offers, a transfer battle could emerge in the coming weeks as interested clubs seek to secure the services of the Super Eagles star.
