Transfer Update: West Ham Plot January Move For Super Eagles Midfielder

West Ham United are reportedly ready to reignite their pursuit of Nigerian international Raphael Onyedika when the winter transfer window opens in January, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Hammers made an attempt to sign the 24-year-old midfielder last summer as part of their plans to bolster their midfield.

However, talks broke down after Club Brugge insisted on a €40 million fee, putting an end to negotiations.

Onyedika has since been a key figure for the Belgian side this season, featuring in 11 matches and registering one assist.

The Super Eagles star remains under contract with Club Brugge until June 2027 and is currently valued at around €20 million by Transfermarkt.
