West Ham United have made a move for Club Brugge midfielder Raphael Onyedika as they look to strengthen their squad ahead of the summer transfer window, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The 24-year-old Nigerian has impressed this season with consistent performances under Nicky Hayen, earning widespread praise for his displays in the UEFA Champions League.

Onyedika played a key role in Club Brugge’s recent Belgian Cup triumph and has been instrumental in their push for a second consecutive Belgian Pro League title.

Belgian outlet Voetbalkrant reports that West Ham are showing strong interest in securing the services of the defensive midfielder.

However, they may face stiff competition from Italian giants AC Milan, who are also keen on the Nigeria international.

 Onyedika joined Club Brugge from Danish side FC Midtjylland in 2022.
