Transfer Update: Wolves End Pursuit Of Chrisantus Uche

Wolverhampton Wanderers have officially withdrawn from their bid to sign Getafe midfielder Chrisantus Uche, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Premier League side had tabled a €20 million offer for the Nigerian international, but complications from the player’s side stalled progress.

Transfer expert Ben Jacobs confirmed the development on his X account, stating: “Chrisantus Uche’s move to Wolves is off as it stands. Wolves have decided to move on to other targets after setting an internal deadline for the deal. Complications on the player’s side caused delays, prompting the club to explore alternative options.”

The 22-year-old has enjoyed a bright start to the season with Getafe, recording one goal and an assist in just two league appearances.

Uche joined the Azulones from Ceuta last summer.
