Transfer Update Aston Villa Opens Discussion To Acquire Iheanacho

English Premier League side Aston Villa has commenced discussion to secure the service of Nigeria's Super Eagles attacker Kelechi Iheanacho, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Iheanacho's contract is set to expire in June and he's yet to agree a new deal with Leicester City, opening up a free transfer option for several interested parties.

Villa is keen on signing the Nigerian forward if he becomes available for nothing, the 27-year-old joined the Foxes from Manchester City in 2017.

The skillful attacker scored 6 goals this season despite playing second fiddle to Jamie Vardy and Patson Daka.
