Tresor Beats Boniface To Player Of The Season Award In Belgium

Nigeria and Union Saint Gillaloise forward Victor Boniface suffered another setback after missing out on the Player of the Season award in Belgium, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Boniface and USG on Sunday suffered heartbreak after narrowly losing the league to Royal Antwerp on the final day of the season.

The young forward was last week nominated for the league player of the season alongside Burundian international Mike Tresor and Teddy Teuma.

Tresor emerged winner with 168 points to dump Teuma and Boniface to 2nd and 3rd respectively.

Teuma polled 129 points and Boniface scored 90 points to stay 3rd.
