Tributes Flood in for Late Sunshine Stars' Assistant Kit Manager

Football stakeholders, coaches, players and clubs have poured out tributes to the departed Sunshine Stars Assistant Kit Manager, Taiwo Dosunmu, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
President of Nigeria Football Federation, Alhaji Ibrahim Musa Gusau said: “This is a very sad development, but God is all-knowing and we can never question His wisdom. We appreciate the prompt response and kind gestures of His Excellency, Governor Godwin Obaseki and the Edo State Government as a whole following the unfortunate incident, even as we are deeply saddened by Dosunmu’s death.
“Our prayer is that Almighty God will grant the late Dosunmu eternal rest, and also grant his immediate family, relations and the Board and Management of Sunshine Stars FC, as well as the good people of Ondo State and the Nigeria Football fraternity the fortitude to bear the loss.â€
Head Coach of Remo Stars, Daniel Ogunmodede said: "I stand in solidarity with the Nigeria Football Community in extending my sincere condolences to the Sunshine Stars family for the passing of their dedicated staff, Taiwo Dosunmu. May he rest in peace, and may no such affliction arise again."
NPFL title-holders, Enyimba Int'l said: "This is indeed a great loss to the entire football community in Nigeria because the late Taiwo Dosunmu was a dedicated and passionate professional whose work was evident with Sunshine stars FC of Akure.
"In this trying times, we as a club extend our deepest condolences to the entire Dosunmu Family, Sunshine stars FC and Ondo state as we pray that God in his Infinite mercy grants the family and club the fortitude to bear this loss."
Also, Lobi Stars through their CEO, Dominic Iorfa described the death of Mr. Dosunmu as a painful loss not only to his family and Sunshine Stars but also to the entire country which he served selflessly."
Heartland FC in a condolence message from the General Manager, Promise Nwachukwu prayed for the repose of the soul of late Dosunmu and also called on security agencies to expedite action on bringing those involved in the dastard act to book.
The Owena Whales were on their way to honour the Nigeria Premier Football League tie against Bendel Insurance in Benin when their bus was attacked by armed bandits with the ex-Assistant Kit Manager, Taiwo Dosunmu shot and other officials and players sustaining various injuries.
