Turkish Club Confirms Injury Of Nigerian Striker

Turkish Super Lig club Gaziantep FK has confirmed the injury of the Nigerian International David Okereke, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Okereke joined the Turkish side last summer after a brief stint with the Italian Serie A side Torino.

He sustained injury during last weekend game against Kayserispor and club on Wednesday morning confirmed the injury after series of test.

" David Okereke, one of the successful football players of our Gaziantep Football Club, was injured in the Kayserispor match played last week.

Following detailed examinations and tests performed on our player by our health team, a tear was detected in the left thigh muscle and treatment was started by our health team. 

We extend our best wishes to David Okereke and hope he recovers quickly", the said.
