Turkish Super Lig: Osimhen Anticipates Challenging End To The Season

Galatasaray forward and Nigerian international Victor Osimhen has acknowledged that the final stretch of the Turkish Super Lig season will be anything but easy, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Osimhen found the net in Galatasaray’s 2-0 victory over Samsunspor on Friday, scoring the team’s second goal to seal the win.

Speaking after the match, the Super Eagles star stressed the importance of focus and determination as the season nears its climax.

"Right now, the focus is on us. We have a responsibility as a team, and we want to win. We actually have the quality to win every match," Osimhen said.

"It’s not easy — we’re facing very strong opponents. We have to be ready to overcome them and lift the cup at the end of the season. We just need to fight."

"We have to give everything each time we step on the pitch. I believe we’ll have the edge by the end of the season, but like I said, it won’t be easy."

Osimhen has now scored 21 league goals this season, playing a crucial role in Galatasaray’s title charge.
