U-17 AFCON: Golden Eaglets To Resume Preparation Next Year

Golden Eaglets will begin preparations for the 2023 Africa U-17 Nations Cup early next year.

The competition will be staged in Algeria from April 8 to April 30.

The Golden Eaglets were last in action in June, 2022 when they defeated Burkina Faso 2-1 in the final of the WAFU B Championship.

Meanwhile, the Flying Eagles started preparations for the Africa U-20 Cup of Nations last week, but the Eaglets camp will not open until 2023.

12 teams will compete for honours at the 2023 AFCON.

The top four teams in the competition will represent Africa at the 2023 FIFA U-17 World Cup.

It will be held in Peru from November 10 to December 2 2023.
