By Tunde David

Nigeria U-20 team has been honored with the Fair Play crown for the just concluded AFCON U20 competition in Egypt, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Ladan Bosso's men finished as the bronze medalist of the tournament for the fourth time in the competition's history after thrashing Tunisia 4-0 on Friday evening.

Despite taking home the bronze medal in Egypt, the seven-time African champions adhered to the rules and had unwavering respect for their rivals, teammates, officials, and spectators.

Recall, a fan of the Flying Eagles was voted the fan of the match in Nigeria's 1-0 win against Uganda in the quarter-finals, a gesture which further cement the team's overall sportsmanship spirit in Egypt.

The seven times African champions are also one of the four teams to present Africa at the upcoming U20 FIFA World Cup in Indonesia in May later this year.
