Morocco's U-20 coach, Mohamed Ouahbi, has shared his thoughts on the draw for the upcoming Africa U-20 Cup of Nations (AFCON), with his team being placed in what many consider the "group of death," BSNSports.com.ng reports.

On Thursday, Morocco found themselves drawn into a tough group alongside former champions Egypt, Nigeria, and an increasingly competitive South Africa.

"It’s a challenging group with strong teams. Nigeria, which has a rich history in the competition, Egypt, which we know well, and South Africa, which is making great strides at the youth level," Ouahbi said.

Despite the tough competition, the 48-year-old coach remained optimistic about his team's chances.

"We’ve been preparing this generation for two years to win the tournament," he added.
