U-20 AFCON: Rampant Flying Eagles win big again in Friendly 

Nigeria’s U-20 side, the Flying Eagles walloped Galadima FC 5-1 in a friendly in Abuja on Wednesday morning, BSNSports.com.ng can report. 

It’s the second big win for Ladan Bosso’s side since resumption from Christmas holiday. 

The Flying Eagles, who set up camp in Abuja last week ahead of the 2023 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations have now scored 10 goals and conceding two goals with same scoreline (5-1) wins.

Flying Eagles star, Yahaya Ibrahim opened the floodgate for goals with a sublime finish. 

The other scorers were Leke Adams, Ayuba Francis and Thompson Ishaka. 

The Flying Eagles resumed training last Monday morning at the FIFA Goal Project in Abuja.

Flying Eagles will trade tackles in the group A opener with Senegal on 19th February before the second game against the hosts, Egypt and Mozambique on 22nd and 25th February respectively.

All four semi-finalists in the biennial competition will fly African flag at the FIFA World Cup in Indonesia where 24 teams across the world will fight for honour.
