The striker of Cameroon's U17 Dorinel Yondjo has made it clear that his ambition is to beat the record of Nigeria's Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Napoli striker netted four goals at the U17 African Cup of Nations and 10 goals at the 2015 FIFA U17 World Cup to emerge top scorer in both tournaments.

Yondjo said he has done his research on Osimhen and he watched him every time with the mindset of following his footsteps.

“Coming to this competition, to tell you the truth, I did some research to know the very recent top scorers of this tournament. I realized that the best had never exceeded four goals and I will try to work to break this record.

“I have followed the story of Victor (Osimhen).

After shining with Nigeria during the 2015 U17 AFCON and the FIFA World Cup, he signed for Wolfsburg in Germany and my dream is also to be able to sign for a big club after this competition,” he told CAF media.
