U17 AFCON: Algeria Joins Senegal In Quarter Final

Host Algeria have also qualified for the quarter-final of the ongoing U17 African Cup of Nations on Friday after playing out a 1-1 draw against Congo, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
The Junior Teranga Lions of Senegal were the first country in the group to reach the last 8 after the second group match.
But Algeria secured their passage on Friday with 4 points and finished second in the group after they held Congo to draw.
Ndzoukou put the Congolese ahead in the mid-second half before the competition's top scorer Moslem Anatouf equalised to secure a spot for the host.
Meanwhile, Senegal finished their group-stage campaign with a maximum of 9 points after they defeated Somalia by 3-0.
