U17 AFCON: We Gave Our All Against South Africa - Light Eke

After their hard-fought win against the Amajimbos of South Africa, Nigeria's Golden Eaglets forward Light Eke has said they gave their all in the game, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Eke was among the goal scorers as Nigeria rallied twice before winning the game 3-2 in a keenly contested encounter.

While reacting to the result on the NFF social media handle, Eke further said they played to instruction and the directives of their coaches

 â€œYeah, it was a good match.

“We gave our all, from the beginning we knew that we came for a win, we listened to our coaches so we worked hard during the match, gave it our all with team effort, all thanks to God", he stated.

The young striker missed a penalty in the opening group game against Zambia.
