U17 AFCON: Zambia Lineup Senegal Friendly For Golden Eaglets

Barely 10 days to the start of the 2023 U17 African Cup of Nations in Algeria, the qualified teams are intensifying preparations to have a good outing in the North African country, BSNSports.com.ng report.

To this end, the group opponent of Nigeria's Golden Eaglet, Zambia has lined up a warm-up game against one of the tournament favorites Senegal.

The Ian Bakala boys have been in a closed camping exercise getting ready for the biennial competition.

Zambia football has been on the rise lately as their senior women's team also qualified for the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup after they finished third in the 2022 Women's African Cup of Nations in Morocco.

The attention is shifted to the U17 team with the sole aim of qualifying for the FIFA U17 World Cup.

Zambia will face Nigeria's Golden Eaglet in the opening group game slated for the 30th of April, 2023.
