U17 WAFU: Nigeria Captain Name Man Of The Match Against Burkina Faso

Following his magnificent display against the Young Etalons of Burkina Faso, Nigeria's Golden Eaglets Captain Simon Cletus was named Man of the Match, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Nigerian side settled for a goalless draw against the Burkinababes in the opening group game.

The Mavlon FC midfielder was outstanding in the team midfield and was close to scoring the winning goal for Nigeria in the 65th minute.

He was adjudged man of the match after the game but he was unable to get his award due to the heavy downpour and he will be given the award on Friday morning.

Nigeria will face Niger on Sunday in the second group match.
