U17 WAFU: Togo Unveils Killer Squad For Golden Eaglets

Ahead of the 2024 U17 WAFU competition, the Federation of Togo Football has announced the final list of Young Sparrows for the championship, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The team has been in a closed camp under the watchful eyes of coach Maurice Ntsoudje and his assistants in the past few weeks and they've played several warm-up matches to shape up the team.

The Togolese team is placed in Group B alongside Nigeria's Golden Eaglets, Niger, and Burkina Faso.

The country's FA President Sebastian Pre visited the team's camp on Friday to encourage the players and urged them to give their best.

The team list released on Saturday night is made of 20 players, including 3 goalkeepers, 7 defenders, 7 midfielders, and 3 attackers.
