U17 WAFU B: "I Was Nervous Against Togo" - Golden Eaglets Coach

Nigeria's Golden Eaglets coach Uduka Ugbade has confirmed that he was a bit nervous against Togo in their second group match, BSNsports.com.ng report.


Fresh from a 4-2 victory against the Black Starlets of Ghana, the Nigeria side delivered wither distinctive performance on Tuesday by thrashing 3-1.


During a post-match conference coach Ugbade said he was expecting his players to deliver the expected result but was shocked to see scoring and further said he was that they got the third goal.


" I was expecting a lot from my players and at the end of the day, we got the victory.


Honestly, I never expected much from Togo but they got a goal and I was a bit nervous maybe they will get the second goal but we were very lucky to get the third goal," he said.


The victory qualified Nigeria for the semi-final of the tournament as the group leader and will confront the second-placed team from the group B for a place in the final.
