Black Starlets of Ghana took on the Nigeria side on Saturday and find it extremely difficult as they lost heavily by 4-1 in front of their fans.
The five-time World champions put up a five-star showing as they took charge of the game from the blast of the whistle and opened the scoring in the 12th minute through a stunning free-kick from Emmanuel Michael.
Precious Williams doubled Nigeria's lead just before the halftime after the Ghanaian goalkeeper spilled the ball from a rebound.
The host tried to improve their performance in the second half but it was Nigeria that added to their tally through Jubril Azeez in the 53rd minute.
Abdu Razak Salifu gave Ghanian fans something to cheer as he reduced the deficit with a 58th minute strike and rekindle the hope of the team.
Ike Light made it 4-1 for Nigeria in the 78th minute before Ghana was awarded a penalty in the 87th minute which was well converted by Collins Agyemang.
All the efforts of Black Starlets to score more in the game proved abortive as Nigeria recorded a 4-2 victory and secured the maximum in the game.
