U17 WAFU B Championship: 130 Players Selected For Golden Eaglets, Face MRI Scan

After a few weeks of rigorous screening and training, the newly appointed technical crew of the Nigeria's Golden Eaglets headed by Uduka Ugbade has selected players for the task at hand, BSNsports.com.ng understand


Ugbade and his assistants started combing and scouting for players across the country a few weeks ago and the training witnessed a large turnout.


According to the report coming from the team training, screening has been rounded up and 130 players have been selected.


Next on the line for the selected players is documentation and going through the compulsory Magnetic Resonance Imaging test.


Nigeria finished as runners up in the last edition of the WAFU B championship behind Ivory Coast and has been placed in the same group with Ghana in this year's edition.
