U17 Women World Cup Qualifier: "We Had Tough Match Against Egypt" - Flamingoes Coach

Head coach of the Nigeria's Flamingoes, Bankole Olowookere, has said their match against Egypt was a difficult one, BSNsports.com.ng can report


Despite proving to be a difficult match, the Nigeria side was able to subdue the Egyptians and secured a 0-2 away win in Cairo.


The result means that Nigeria progressed into the final round of the qualifier 6-0 on the aggregate scoreline.


" The match is a bit tough, the home supports on one side and then the weather was a bit harsh beyond our imagination.


"The game is a bit tough but the girls tried their best.


"They have their patterns and ways of playing and they are also determined to come hard on us but we need to avoid injury that was why we remained calm with them.


On the Ethiopian game, he said, " We just need to sit down and get needed information about them. I have tapes of their previous matches, I will use down and map out a strategy, our target remained to get the ticket," he said.
