U17 Women's WAFU B: Burkina Faso Withdraw From Competition

Barely a week to the start of the 2024 U17 Women's WAFU B regional competition, Burkina Faso has withdrawn from the championship, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Burkina Faso Football Federation announced their decision to pull out of the competition in a correspondence addressed to the Executive Directorate of WAFU-B.

As a result, Group A has been reduced to two teams: Ghana and Benin. Group B remains unchanged, comprising Nigeria, Niger, and Cote d'Ivoire.

The tournament is scheduled to take place from December 12 to 22, 2024, in Prampram, Ghana.
