U17 Women's WAFU B: Flamingos Beat Remo Stars Ladies, Selected All Stars In Friendly

Nigeria Women's U17, the Flamingos on Wednesday defeated Remo Stars Ladies and Selected Female All Stars in a warm-up game at the Remo Stars Stadium, Ikenne, Ogun state.

The Nigeria girls training ahead of their participation at the 2024 U17 Women's WAFU B championship in Ghana played a 1-1 draw in the first half against Remo Stars Ladies with the only goal coming from the boot of Aishat Animashaun, before unleashing terror on Selected Female All Stars with a resounding 2-0 in the second half. Shakirat Moshood scored from the penalty spot followed by a brilliant goal from Harmony Chidi. 

The 2024 U17 Women's WAFU B championship is scheduled to take place from December 12 to 26, 2024, at the GFA Technical Center in Prampram, the tournament will see Côte d'Ivoire, Ghana, Togo, Benin, and Nigeria vying for the inaugural title.
