U17 World Cup: FIFA Set To Hand Morocco Hosting Right

After stripping Peru of the hosting right of the U17 World Cup, the world soccer ruling body is set to name Morocco as host, BSNSports.com.ng report.

Peru was stripped of the right last week after it failed to meet the standard requirements in terms of facilities and infrastructures.

Among the countries that have shown interest in staging the tournament, some Executive Committee members of FIFA seem to have a preference for the North African country.

FIFA has made it clear that the new host will be announced very soon and Morocco will be the first country to qualify if they get the hosting right.

This year competition is slated for November 10 to December 2, 2023.
