Ahead of the 2025 U17 Women’s World Cup in Morocco, Nigeria’s Flamingos bounced back to winning ways with a 3-2 victory over Paraguay in a warm-up match on Tuesday evening, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Nigerian girls showed great improvement after their earlier setback against New Zealand in the first preparatory game. Coach Bankole Olowookere’s side looked more composed and clinical in front of goal this time, dominating large spells of the encounter.

Despite a spirited challenge from the South Americans, the Flamingos held firm to secure a morale-boosting win as they continue their build-up to the global tournament.

The victory will give the team much-needed confidence heading into their remaining test matches before the World Cup kicks off in Morocco.
