U17WW/Cup: Ecuador Forward Explains Reason They Lost To Nigeria

Ecuador Forward Domenica Arboleda has given reasons they suffered a heavy 4-0 defeat against Nigeria's Flamingos, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Ecuadorians lost their second group game of the ongoing FIFA U17 Women's World Cup in New Zealand.

Arboleda admitted that they expected Nigeria to be a tough opponent and physical, though they prepared for the game but it never worked out.

"We knew that Nigeria were going to be a tough opponent, they have very fast players".

"We came in prepared but it didn't work. But that's football and now we have to focus on the game against New Zealand", she said.
