U18 AfroBasket: D'Tigress Edge Tunisia In Thrilling Contest

Nigeria's U18 women's basketball team, D'Tigress, recorded a hard-fought 54-50 victory over Tunisia in a closely contested encounter at the U18 AfroBasket Championship, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The game was evenly matched from start to finish, with both sides exchanging baskets in an intense battle. 

However, D'Tigress showed resilience and composure in the closing moments to secure the crucial win.

Favour Joy Anari starred for Nigeria with an impressive double-double performance, scoring a game-high 14 points while grabbing nine rebounds. 

Khadijah Alli contributed nine points, while Bisola Orowolo added eight as the Nigerians relied on a disciplined team effort to overcome the determined Tunisians.

The victory strengthens Nigeria's campaign at the tournament and provides a timely confidence boost as D'Tigress look to build on their winning start.
