U18 Afrobasketball: Junior D'Tigress Zoom Into Final

Nigeria's Junior D'Tigress has qualified for the final of the U18 Afrobasketball championship in Pretoria, reports BSNSports.com.ng.

The Nigerian side on Friday afternoon defeated Uganda 71-67 to book their spot in the final. The game lived up to the expectations but it was the Nigerians who won the first quarter 21-20 and ahead by halftime 45-39. The Ugandans up their game in the 3rd quarter but it was Junior D'Tigress who won again 61-54 before wrapping up the game in the final quarter 71-67. Junior D'Tigress will confront Mali in the final of the Championship.
