U18 Women's Afrobasket Championship: Junior D'Tigress Drawn In Group C

Nigeria's Junior D'Tigress have been drawn in Group C of the 2026 U18 Women's Afrobasket Championship, where they will face Cameroon, Tunisia and Senegal, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The draw for the 18th edition of the continental championship placed the Nigerian side in one of the tournament's most competitive groups as they prepare to battle for the African title.

The championship will take place in Côte d'Ivoire from August 5 to 16, with the West African nation hosting the continent's best young female basketball talents. Host nation Côte d'Ivoire headline

Group A alongside the Central African Republic, Kenya and Uganda. Group B comprises Mali, Egypt, Morocco and Benin. Nigeria will be aiming for a strong campaign in Group C as the Junior D'Tigress seek to progress to the knockout stage and challenge for the championship.

The competition will also provide an opportunity for Africa's emerging basketball stars to showcase their talents on the continental stage.
