U19 Cricket World Cup: Determined Junior Female Yellow Greens To Return Home On Friday

The Junior Female Yellow Greens will arrive in Nigeria on Friday, following their impressive performance at the 2025 ICC Women’s T20 World Cup in Malaysia.

The team finished sixth and secured automatic qualification for the next edition of the tournament, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Nigeria wrapped up their campaign on Wednesday with a tense six-run victory over Ireland in their second Super 6 match.

This marked their second win of the tournament in three games after they also triumphed over New Zealand by two runs in their historic debut at the ICC U-19 Women’s T20 World Cup.

Their only defeat came against South Africa in the group stage. The 2025 ICC Women’s T20 World Cup will conclude on Sunday, with the four semi-finalists set to compete on Friday.
