After their narrow defeat to Sierra Leone, in the 2024 ICC U-19 Cricket World Cup qualifiers in Tanzania on Monday, Nigeria's Junior Yellow Greens have set their eyes on victory in subsequent games, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Following their slow start in the game the Nigerian team lost by 9 wickets to their West African brothers.

The skipper of the Nigeria side Abdul Kareem admitted that it was a tough game but promised they will make amends in the subsequent matches.

"It was very difficult for our batters in the first game because the wicket was very slow and the bowlers took advantage of it.

"All we have to do is plan for the remaining matches. We have four more matches and if we win them, we have a chance of qualifying,” he said.
