Nigeria’s Junior Yellow Greens recorded a convincing 165-run victory over Sierra Leone in their U19 ICC World Cup Africa Qualifier encounter, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Nigeria posted an imposing 311/9 in 50 overs after winning the toss and opting to bat first.

Sierra Leone struggled in their chase, eventually being bowled out for 146 runs in 45.5 overs, handing Nigeria a comprehensive 165-run victory.

The result further strengthens Nigeria’s campaign as they continue their quest to qualify for the ICC U19 World Cup.

Nigeria will now turn their attention to their next fixture as they seek to maintain their strong run in the competition.
