U20 AFCON: "How Flying Eagles Scored Six Goals In Second Half" - Bosso

Flying Eagles coach, Ladan Bosso has revealed the technical change he brought into the team in the second half to record six goals in 30 minutes in a friendly match, BSNSports.com.ng can report.
The seven times African champions annihilated Deluxe Football Club 6-0 in a friendly match at FIFA Goal Project Pitch on Friday morning.
Bosso told BSN Sports in an exclusive interview after the match that bringing in five players after a 0-0 first half changed the tempo and pattern of play.
He said, "what we saw this morning is that, in the first half, we tried some players first, you can see that we started two professionals that joined the team. We brought in local players who are used to playing together and they immediately changed the pattern of play.
"When there is very good build up from the defense line, the finishing is going to be perfect. And that's what gave us the result in the second half. " He concluded.
Coach Ladan Bosso used the test game to try blend the team he intends to field for the 2023 TotalEnergies U20 Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt.
First half was ding-dong affairs between the two teams filled missed chances.
But in the second half, captain of the side, Ibrahim Yahaya drew the first blood in the 47th minute.
Three minutes later, fast winger, Haliru Seriki was classy in doubling the lead placing a low shot to the right side of the goal post .
Remo Stars young attacker Adams Olamilekan who shown like a million stars registered his own share of the goals three minutes for the hour mark.
Seriki added the fourth and Emmanuel Ochegbu contributed a brace to round up the game.
The TotalEnergies U20 Africa Cup of Nations will take place from 19 February to 11 March 2023. The host cities are Cairo (Group A), Ismailia (Group B) and Alexandria (Group C).
The 12-nation tournament will begin with a mouth-watering opening game between hosts Egypt and Mozambique on Sunday 19 February 2023 at 16h00 local time.
