U20 AFCON: Flying Eagles Beat Young Pharaohs In Friendly

Nigeria’s U20 boys, Flying Eagles on Tuesday defeated the Young Pharaohs of Egypt in a friendly game ahead of the 17th Africa U20 Cup of Nations finals, BSNSports.com.ng reports. 

The friendly, which held at the Cairo International Stadium is part of their build-up to the Africa U20 Cup of Nations billed to take place 27th April – 18th May.

Goals from Kparobo Arierhi and Benjamin Precious ensured they Flying Eagles got the better of their opponents 2-1 while Ahmad Kaabaka scored for the hosts. 

Housed in Group B alongside Tunisia Kenya and Morocco, the seven-time African champions get their campaign underway against Tunisia at the 30 June Stadium in Cairo on Thursday 1st May.
