U20 AFCON: Flying Eagles Engine Room, Daga To Return In Quarterfinal

By Niyi Busari

It's blow below the belt for the Flying Eagles and likewise relief as they will miss the services of Daniel Daga in Saturday's AFCON U20 group A last match against Mozambique in Ismailia, reports BSNSports.com.ng.

Daga picked up a slight knock in the Flying Eagles lone goal defeat to Senegal in the group opener on Wednesday.

The creative midfielder then required medical attention and enough rest to get back to full fitness, the recuperation process, thus ruled him out of Saturday's crucial game against Mozambique who are in search of a win after beating Egypt 1-0 and lost on same margin to Senegal.

Meanwhile, three times Man of The Match winner at the WAFU B championship last year, Daga is expected to back for selection if the Flying Eagles qualify for quarter final.
