U20 AFCON: Flying Eagles Group Opponent Struggle Against Uganda

Barely six days to the start of the 2023 U20 African Cup of Nations, Flying Eagles group opponent Junior Pharaohs of Egypt struggled in their warm-up game, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Egypt who also doubled as the host of the competition have been have been struggling to win friendly games.

They took on the Hippos of Uganda on Monday evening at the Military Stadium in Cairo and has to force the Ugandans to a 1-1 draw.

Last Friday, they had to rely on penalty shoot-outs before they could subdue the competition debutant South Sudan.

The biennial tournament will kick off on Sunday, February 19th with Egypt facing Mozambique.
