U20 AFCON: Flying Eagles Set To Resume Next Week

Ahead of the 2023 U20 African Cup of Nations in Egypt, the Nigeria U20 team, Flying Eagles is set to resume training next week, BSNSports.com.ng report.

The Nigeria team under coach Ladan Bosso qualified for the competition in style after they emerged as the champions of the WAFU B regional qualifier in Ivory Coast.

Flying Eagles remained one of the continent's successful teams at the FIFA U20 World Cup who were two-time finalists in 1989 and 2005.

According to the update from the team coach Bosso, the team will commence preparations for the competitions next week.

Bosso said the technical crew of the team decided to start preparations early to be able to get the best out of the tournament.

Meanwhile, South Sudan and Uganda have qualified for the competition in Egypt after both teams qualified for the final of the CECAFA regional qualifier.
