U20 AFCON: NFF Will Give Flying Eagles All The Necessary Supports - Secretary General

Ahead of the 2023 U20 African Cup of Nations in Egypt, Nigeria Football Federation Secretary-General, Mohammed Sanusi, has reiterated their readiness to give Flying Eagles the necessary supports to do well in the competition, BSNsports.com.ng report


After crashing out in Benin in 2020, the team under Ladan Bosso came out stronger in 2022 in Niamey, Niger to emerge regional champions in the just-concluded WAFU B championship.


While speaking on the team performance, Sanusi said their duties is to get the team ready by getting them quality warm-up games.


“The work is for us to do what we are supposed to do by giving all the necessary encouragement, to keep them together, arrange quality friendly matches for them, both at home and abroad and monitor their performance at their clubs. That is the best way to go," he said


Apart from qualifying for the AFCON tournament, the team must strive to secure a semi-final spot to in order to qualify for the 2023 U20 FIFA Women World Cup.
