U20 AFCON: Qualified Teams Confirmed

Following the completion of the regional championship, the qualified teams for the 2025 U20 African Cup of Nations have been confirmed, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Nigeria's Flying Eagles, under coach Aliyu Zubairu, picked one of the tickets after they emerged as the winner of the WAFU B with a victory over Ghana.

According to the list, the qualified teams are Nigeria, Egypt, Senegal, Morocco, DR Congo, Congo, Zambia, Tanzania, Sierra Leone, Kenya and South Africa.

North African country Egypt has been announced as the tentative host of the competition in January 2025.

The semi-finalist will represent the continent at the FIFA U20 World Cup in Chile.
