U20 AFCON: Senegal Invites 6 Players From Victorious CHAN Team For Flying Eagles

The Junior Teranga Lions are set to continue the recent domination of Senegal in the African championships, BSNSports.com.ng report.

The Senegalese national team emerged as the winners of the African Cup of Nations, Beach AFCON and recently the Championship of African Nation ( CHAN).

The head coach of the Senegal U20 team Malick Daf on Wednesday afternoon announced that 6 players from the CHAN team that emerged victorious in Algeria will be joining the team ahead of the AFCON tournament slated to hold in Egypt.

 â€œWe will be having 5 or even 6 players who were with the locals in Algeria to complete the squad. They will come to reinforce the group”, he said.

Senegal is placed in group A alongside Mozambique, Nigeria and the host Egypt.
