U20 AFCON: We Are 100 Percent Ready For Tunisia - Ogwuche
Sampson Adedeji
Nigeria's Flying Eagles star Abel Ogwuche has confirmed the readiness of the team to face the Young Carthage Eagles of Tunisia, BSNSports.com.ng report.
The Nigerian side suffered a surprise 0-1 loss to the Scorpions of Gambia which meant that they will be competing for the bronze medal.
During a press conference ahead of the game, Ogwuche said they wanted to win the trophy but in as much that is out of their reach now, they are not ready to return home empty-handed.
"We are a hundred per cent prepared to take something back to Nigeria. We lost the last game but in football, there can only be three outcomes.
"We will be coming out to win the game and take something back home and put a smile on the faces of our fans.
"This tournament is a great opportunity for us the players to be seen and showcase our talent and we will do our best," he insisted.
