U20 AFCON: We Play A Great Nigeria Team But.... - Senegal Coach

The head coach of the Young Teranga Lions of Senegal Malick Daf has said they played against a great Nigeria team, BSNSports.com.ng report.

The Senegalese side narrowly defeated the Nigeria Flying Eagles in the opening group game on Sunday.

Daf said the Nigeria team was great but they managed to hinder them from playing.

 â€œWe met a great team. We managed to hinder them in the recovery and on the exits of balls. I salute the tactical discipline of the players, who delivered a heroic match, full of flavours,” said coach Malick Daf.

Senegal will face Mozambique in their second group match and Nigeria will play host Egypt on Wednesday at the Cairo International Stadium.
