U20 AFCON: We’ll Be Ready For Flying Eagles – South Africa Coach

South Africa U20 head coach Raymond Madaka has expressed confidence in his team’s readiness to face Nigeria's Flying Eagles in the upcoming U20 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Amajita find themselves in a challenging group alongside Nigeria, Egypt, and Morocco.

However, Madaka remains optimistic about his team's chances.

 "We waited a long time for the draw to know our opponents," Madaka told CAFonline.

"We knew the teams that qualified, but we needed to see where we’d be placed and who we’d face.

 "I believe every group deserves respect. We are comfortable with the group we have and will prepare ourselves to give our best performance."

The U20 AFCON serves as a qualifier for the 2025 FIFA U20 World Cup in Chile, with the top four teams securing their spots at the global tournament.
