After suffering an opening group defeat to Nigeria's Flying Eagles, the head coach of the Black Satellite of Ghana Ibrahim Ibe Zito has admitted that the Nigerians were better, BSNsports.com.ng can report

Goals from Ibrahim Muhammed and Ahmed Abdullahi in each half ensured that the defending champion fell 0-2 to the Nigeria side.

He also blamed the weather condition for the outcome of the game but believe they will bounce back in the next match.

" We were beaten by a better side; we had the opportunity to score but we couldn’t make it. So, this is how it is, we’ve not tested how the weather is, we are now going to compose and come back”

“In football, you always have the opportunity to make amendments so I am not downhearted, this is not the end, this is the first and we still have a match to play and we will do our best to win that match and then qualify," he said

Ghana must beat Burkinafaso in their next group match to have a chance of competing in the 2023 U20 African Cup of Nations in Algeria.
