U20 WW/Cup: Burundi Appoint New Director For Falconets Clash

Despite losing the opening leg at home, the Burundi Football Federation still believe the U20 Women's team stand a chance of picking the FIFA Women's World Cup against Nigeria's Falconets, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The central African country suffered a narrow 0-1 defeat to Nigeria last weekend in the final round of the World Cup.

Ahead of the second leg match slated to be held in Nigeria, the country's football body announced Alphonse Kanega as the new director of the team.

Kanega replaced Mupenda Mohsin who was relieved of his duty immediately after the game on Sunday.

The second leg match is fixed for the MKO Abiola Stadium in Abuja.
